Global FMCG business is searching for a Global Media Relations Executive to join their London team.

The brand:
A leader in the supply of Food, Home Care, Personal Care with sales in over 190 countries and reaching 2.5 billion consumers a day. Employing over 150,000 employees and generated billions in sales in 2016 this brand focuses on developed and emerging markets. Home to more than 400 brands and committed to their CSR objectives this company is probably one of the best brands to work for in the market.

The role:
Being a key part of the global media relations team within the brand - responsible for building relationships with global media outlets, managing all the corporate voice of the business from activity to results. This role is part of the nerve centre for corporate external announcements and activity, working with the media relations team in all the markets and delivering content for the global market.

Not only will the right candidate have fantastic media relations skills from a global perspective but will have strong writing skills, be hungry to learn and have the ability to manage internal networks and stakeholders.You'll work closely with the media relations director to execute media strategy for the business. The role will include both reactive and proactive media work and you'll also have the opportunity to develop key corporate stories for the business.

You'll have a passion for NGO, politics and history as well as being fantastic at delivering content with limited information. The client is open to background whether that be from a agency, NGO or corporate background the client is open to strong candidates.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of the media relations plan
- Leading on PR activities
- Dealing with media queries / maintaining media contacts, in charge of announcements
- Point of contact for the media relations global network

- 3+ years experience
- Agency or brand experience
- Corporate experience
- Happy working in an environment driving strategic comms
- Excellent copywriter
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
- Experience of working for global brands.
