Your new company
You will work for a leading publishing organisation who have a portfolio of prestigious publications which are world renowned. The European and Asian HQ have recently moved to London, and the team are currently going through and period of rapid growth. They are looking for another addition to their team reporting into the MD.

Your new role
You will work in a key role within the organisation, where now more than ever it is essential that their content rights are well defined and carefully managed, and their internal syndication processes are simple and straightforward. You will work with the wider business to accelerate their efforts to standardise content rights across the group and drive a strong culture of rights management across the organisation. You will act as group-wide subject matter expert on content rights, particularly video as well as develop and manage group-wide rights management material (policies, procedures, contract templates etc).

What you'll need to succeed

  • Thorough understanding of digital content from production through worldwide distribution across multiple platforms.
  • Working knowledge of all elements of video rights (production, talent, audio etc).
  • Basic grounding in other pertinent legal topics (contributor rights, copyright, contract law, intellectual property etc) - note formal legal training is not essential.
  • Experience with digital asset management and rights management systems within a media company.

What you'll get in return
You will be paid a generous salary, which is negotiable depending on experience, but circa £50,000. You will have the opportunity to work in a key role within an organisation who are well known across the world, and be a part of their growth in the London office.
