Internal Communications Lead

A leading automotive manufacturer based in the Midlands are looking to recruit a bright and ambitious communicator as an Internal Communications Lead, this role will be employed off headcount via their agency.

You will create an internal communications strategy and to bring that strategy to life. The Internal Communications function provides a service to all UK business areas which plans, defines, creates, delivers and measures key communications engagement activity across all business areas, using multiple channels and engagement platforms from events through to eDM.

Automotive experience, a passion for writing and a close understanding of creating content on digital systems for online use are essential. As this role requires building good relationships with all levels of management, external agencies and the wider retail network; clear communication and presentation skills are compulsory.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • A background in content strategy/ content management in the automotive sector either for an automotive manufacturer or agency.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and interpersonal
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong computer literacy with experience of content management systems an advantage
  • An interest in new technology and digital communications
  • Exceptional organisation, time and project management skills
