Our client is a rapidly growing expert in the field of retail and shopper research. They are proud of being an independent agency that has managed to keep hold of all the elements of their small-company heritage whilst continuing to deliver real value to their clients. This is the ideal role for a senior researcher keen to spend more time with clients tackling challenging, high profile issues rather than commuting into the city.

Previous retail, technology/telecoms, FMCG or travel-research experience is a bonus but this role is more about having a passion for these sectors and being in tune with current trends and the way consumers think. Being genuine authorities in the field they feel they can teach the required sector-knowledge. What is essential is that you have well-honed research skills ideally in both quant and qual but they would be open to looking at people from a quant only background as long as you are not closed to the idea of being involved in both. You will work on a mix of tactical and highly strategic projects and the role will suit a commercially aware individual with superb analysis and reporting skills.

Having a small company ethos means that this is a hands on role where you will be fully involved in the entire research process, you will build close working relationships with your clients and your can-do attitude will take you far in a company that works hard to keep staff motivated and happy.
