As Publisher Account Executive you will be responsible for managing a growing portfolio of Publisher accounts and associated renewal revenue. You will work with our clients to ensure that rich descriptive data elements for their titles are visible to the Book Trade in the UK and Internationally. Working closely with the Commercial team your primary focus will be to manage subscription revenue and the renewals process by organising your portfolio, handling client queries and building rapport with our customers. In addition, you will be adept at identifying new business opportunities and will be able to proactively handle inbound and outbound sales calls via email or phone to maximise revenue opportunities.

Reporting to the Sales Director, Discovery & Commerce Solutions, you will be part of the vibrant Discovery & Commerce sales team and will work closely with the Head of Professional Services, Senior Business Development Manager and Publisher Account Manager. This role does not have any direct reports.

This role requires the successful individual to show competence across a range of skills. The candidate will need to focus on the existing portfolio of publisher accounts and ensure that renewals are handled in a timely and efficient way. The successful candidate will also need to maximise revenue opportunities from incoming leads, and be able to clearly demonstrate the value proposition of a Nielsen subscription service.

��� Responsible for the renewal process and revenue growth of Publisher subscriptions
��� Responsible for the timely communication and dispatch of subscription renewal letters
��� Ongoing maintenance of customer account information in internal systems and CRM portal
��� Communication with clients via email or phone for billing / new business enquiries
��� Will work together with Publisher Account Managers, the wider Commercial Team, Finance and other colleagues to ensure the billing processes works effectively
��� Demonstrate a good awareness of personal and team development objectives.

��� University degree or equivalent experience
��� Publishing experience advantageous but not essential
��� Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
��� A self-starter who can confidently work with different internal teams
��� A passion for first-rate customer service
��� Sales, account management experience and negotiation skills a bonus
��� Experience of having worked in a renewal subscription business, SAP/SalesForce desirable
