Our client is looking to build a talented commercial division to help them grow and expand from their base in Bristol. They are looking for a Commercial & New Business Director with a strong track record in driving growth within the Integrated Marketing Sector.


The Agency:


The agency is a full service integrated agency with an authentic approach, a determined attitude, producing successful results. Starting in 2006 the agency has recently acquired a Design agency in Cardiff and a Digital Marketing agency in Bristol and have ambitious plans for future growth.


What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Commercial & New Business Director to lead the agency’s business growth. You will own marketing, new business and account development targets, taking accountability for achieving the short and long term revenue plans. You should have command of best practices and trends in Design, Marketing including Digital and Digital development.

Your responsibilities:


Develop and implement commercial strategy and revenues Maximising revenues from our established proposition Identify new market opportunities Ensure the commercial needs of products and services are understood and delivered Raise the profile of the company and its commercial solutions Represent the company at external events Be responsible for the optimal pricing of products Deliver weekly sales forecast & delivery commitment to the Directors Drive the business strategy to identify and penetrate new market opportunities New business generation in the UK and globally by following up on or generating own leads Develop and execute sales plan Generate sales leads by prospecting target clients Search for and maintain a database of prospective clients Create appropriate presentations to generate new business A willingness to work long hours as needed, often under pressure Effectively manage your sales pipeline, ensuring it is up to date and accurate at all times Weekly and monthly reporting to management on sales activities, pipeline and forecasts Bring new ideas and initiatives to the fore to grow the new business opportunities and expand the brand globally  




Considerable experience in a high volume marketing agency sales, selling to both regional and national brands Business development experience and a strong book of contacts with brands. A demonstrable track record of success in a similar role Success of dynamically driving growth from existing and new markets Deep understanding of the current Integrated marketing offering. Ability to adapt to a quickly changing, fast-paced environment A ‘can-do’ attitude and an ability to rapidly scale our revenue business Excellent written communication and organizational skills Have direct contact with key decision makers within direct organisations and agencies (e.g. Marketing Director, CMO level) Proven track record of successfully hitting targets and growing client base Experienced and successful in new business development Able to work under own initiative as well as part of a team Accurate in all communications and takes pride in how they present themselves and the company Proficient communication skills, verbal and written
