We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers (CASE) team based at Stanley Green. Reporting to the Group Product Manager, we are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed individual to develop profitable sales growth from our Paint, Ink and Construction portfolio, whilst carefully managing the existing business.

The Product Manager Role:

Working closely with the CASE team, the successful applicant will be a key commercial contact for our CASE Supplier base. You will be responsible for developing this in line with our growth strategy. You will maintain a very “hands on” role with significant cross functional interaction with sales, customer service, technical, stock, operations and other functions to ensure we execute on our key initiatives to deliver growth.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

+ The achievement of agreed sales and margin budgets
+ Building supplier (and customer) relationships 
+ Contribute to the local and EMEA growth plans
+ Development and delivery of a credible sales pipeline
+ To understand and keep abreast of industry and market trends
+ Deliver business reporting as required

We Are Looking For:

It is essential that you are able to work effectively within all levels of an organisation and have the ability to prioritise and multi-task and, crucially, be prepared to take ownership and meaningful action. As a true professional you will be positive and inquisitive by nature, possess excellent interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills. 

Experience of the coatings market is preferred. You will be able to develop relationships, positively influence both suppliers and colleagues and know how to close a deal. The need for strong business acumen and a proven commercial and / or sales track record are essential for this role.
