TV/Broadcast Media Planner - Manchester - £25-35k

The successful candidate will join their Manchester office, which looks after the biggest media accounts outside of their headquarters. Being a well-integrated media agency, they provide a wide range of cross-channel campaigns. This office is extremely successful and they are therefore expanding their teams and is now looking for a Broadcast Manager to look after a strong client portfolio of high profile customers. The successful candidate will manage key TV campaigns and develop excellent media strategies. Main responsibilities of the Broadcast Manager:

  • Manage the full administration of the TV campaigns which includes campaign approval, airtime delivery and downloads and costs
  • Analyse and control quality of the airtime and programme delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Develop media strategies including planning and buying
  • Participate in TV negotiations and monitoring booked volume
  • Utilise the company's media systems and tools, whilst analysing the performance from data
  • Participate in evaluated TV campaigns

Required skills of the candidate:

  • Previous work experience of TV, Radio and VOD media campaigns including planning and buying
  • Previous experience of TV trading
  • Strong knowledge of online and offline media channels
  • Great understanding of the Irish media environment is advantageous, however not essential to be considered for the role
  • Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong numerical skills and ability to understand performance from data analysis
  • Ability to use media systems like TGI and Ad Dynamix
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude
