Part of the Internet Retailing Top 500 this year, this is a sizeable operation working as part of a cutting-edge eCommerce team. You can flex your analytical and commercial skills with one of the biggest online retailers in South Wales. Great training, excellent environment – what’s not to like!

What you’ll be doing

Reporting into an eCommerce Manager your remit will focus primarily on content (site look and feel), analytics and website performance. The content side will focus on working alongside copywriters to position new products on the site, alongside the correct imagery and descriptions. Copywriters will write the copy, but your role will be about overseeing this and ensure it matches customer expectations on the site. Your strong numerical skills will come into play through reporting on the performance of the website (customer behaviour) using Google Analytics and Excel. You’ll use this insight alongside your manager to form the strategy on how to drive Average Order Value and conversions, in turn boosting the online sales.

What experience you’ll need

You’ll love working as part of a team given the need to maintain the tone of the brand across eCommerce and other marketing channels. With the merchandising and numerical requirements involved, you’ll have a great attention to detail and fantastic Excel skills to hit the ground running in fast-paced environment. Ideally you’ll have worked in an eCommerce setup already to have crafted this knowledge, although they will consider people from other online positions where these skills are applicable. Having worked with Google Analytics and an eCommerce CMS will provide a real advantage.

What you’ll get in return for your talents

A salary of £18-23k is on offer for this one. The business have some nice perks too, including 28 days’ holiday, 20% staff discount, pension and brilliant training for your professional development. Did I mention they also have a Starbucks in the office to fuel your efforts?

What’s next?

This is an urgent one for the team, so please get in touch with Joe for further information and to apply.
