Your new role
Working closely with the deputy Director of Communications - you will create media and social media strategies to showcase the exciting, and in some cases ground breaking work the trust is doing. With exceptional stakeholder relationship qualities, you will develop relationships with clinicians, consultants, medical academics as well as national journalists to promote and increase the public profile of their work.
You will actively source good news stories, and handle broadcasting and press. This is a proactive Media Officer role, so you will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of your social / media strategy.
What you'll need to succeed
With exceptional writing skills and ability to story tell, you will be able to demonstrable evidence of developing campaign ideas and successfully gaining attention in the national media. You will have excellent awareness of current affairs.
