Business Development Executive opportunity for someone to join an exciting legal firm which is investing into it's marketing and BD function in order to establish itself as a leading firm in the market. Exciting opportunity for someone to build their experience in a well regarded brand name and with an opportunity to really concentrate on a true BD position.

This role will focus on 2 areas, new business development and existing client development. You will be expected to build strong sector knowledge, research your target client (new or existing) and work with the Head's of department to create a BD plan about how to further develop the relationship with that business. This may be through targeted campaigns, event management or creating thought leadership programmes. You will liaise closely with your colleagues in the marketing and events team in order to be able to effectively brief them on the requirements. Where necessary you will help with the bid preparation and delivery in order to ensure positive outcomes for new business requirement.

In order to be successful with your application you will need to have worked in a BD or marketing role within a professional services firm previously. You must be able to demonstrate where you have applied the above mentioned skills effectively and to the benefit of creating closer relationships with the client base and ultimately generating revenue for the firm.

The role is paying a competitive salary with benefits package. The role can be based in Manchester or Liverpool but you will be expected to spend time in both those locations as well as the Preston site.
