Purpose of role

An Account Executive is largely office-based and will work closely with other members of their Account team in providing administration support and the smooth running of high quality projects on brief and on time. 

Key Responsibilities of the Role

To support the Account Director /Senior Account Manager/ Account Manager in the smooth delivery of projects through creation and maintenance of:

  • status reports
  • estimates
  • timelines
  • contact reports
  • assistance with briefs
  • To be able to manage (on their own) small projects/or elements of larger projects from start to finish, moving onto larger projects as experience and opportunity arises
  • To be able to traffic all owned projects through to delivery, including opening jobs, briefing the Creative Services Manager and assisting with templated estimating, briefing the creative studio, handling amends, proofing, through to delivery/upload
  • To organise and prepare for client meetings, ensuring agendas, presentation materials etc. are proofed and ready
  • To be able to accurately proof-read deliverables in advance of delivery to clients
  • As their experience grows, to:
  • cultivate and develop their internal and client relationships
  • take on a deeper engagement of project content, strategy and client business

Ideal Characteristics

  • Some experience (6 months+) working ideally within a fully integrated marketing agency
  • Ideally a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • An interest in technology


  • Salary: Up to £22,000 (depending on experience) with 25 days holiday per year. There will be a four-month probation period. Following successful completion of this period, health care (currently BUPA) will be added to the package.
