Senior Service Designer

Our client is a leading innovation constancy and they are looking to recruit a Senior Service Designer to work on global engagements and join their London team.

The ideal candidate will be an inquisitive individual, capable of collaborating with team members and client teams alike. You will be passionate about solving innovation and service design challenges and keen to continually develop yourself and others. A proactive and quick learner you will also relish working in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment.

Reporting to the Innovation Director, responsibilities will include:

*As an authority in service design you will lead relevant global projects, managing team members, and be responsible for overall client satisfaction and project success

*You will be responsible for designing research approaches, insight generation, critical thinking, concept generation and development, design and prototyping

*You will be a true expert, capable of providing internal and external training on service design, design thinking and innovation tools and techniques

*You will identify business opportunities within existing client organizations and work with new business teams to help identify and win new accounts.

*You will be expected to write / contribute to proposals and pitches at high Agency`s standards and present at relevant industry conferences

*You will work with other senior consultants, and our Innovation Director to develop new, world class IP

Skills and Experience

*A natural integrative thinker, capable of sense making from disparate data, and reconciling commercial tensions with new creative solutions.

*You will be happy to follow processes but comfortable in dealing with ambiguity

*A strong visual story teller, with good concept visualisation skills and proficient use of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint

*7 + years of experience in service design consulting. You will have tackled a wide range of customer experience and innovation issues across a wide range of industry sectors.

*Travel, Hospitality, Retail, and Automotive desired

*Fluent in design thinking and areas such as Service Blueprinting, Spatial Design, Business Design, UX/UI, HCD, design research methods, idea generation, service prototyping

*Great communications skills, with fluent English (written & spoken). Fluency in one other language preferred

*Experience of managing multi-disciplinary, global projects is a must
