Temporary opportunity working for a leading travel business based in Liverpool where you will join part of a busy marketing and communications team during a key time.
Your new role
You will support the corporate communications manager in the delivery of a robust corporate communications service with the aim of building and protecting corporate reputation. You will put customers, both internal and external, at the heart of everything you do as well as assisting in the supervision of the assistant communications officer. Your role will involve supporting the delivery of the Corporate Communications Strategy, advising on communications handling including on high-profile or reputationally significant issues, considering internal and external audiences and available channels and co-ordinating, writing and editing copy for internal and external publications and communication channels, taking the editorial lead on agreed channels.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a minimum of two years' experience in a communications field, such as journalism, press office or PR and a goof level of understanding of the media and how it operates with a strong interest in current affairs. Experience of working under pressure, including to competing deadlines is also essential.
