An online supermarket delivery giant based just north of London is looking to hire three analysts for their Grocery Insights team, whose aim is to cooperatively understand how customers buy their shopping through the website, proposing measured insight into new loyalty schemes and personalised marketing campaigns, as well as innovative ways to connect with the customer digitally.

The Opportunities

Each with different focuses, there is an analyst whose focus will be on Customer Insight, which entails encouraging customers to become regular shoppers by monitoring the ways in which the company interacts with visitors to the site and the effect their current efforts have, looking to optimise the reach and thus success of their activity.

Another vacancy requires an analyst with a focus upon Merchandising and Web who is dedicated to understanding how customers do their shopping with relation to the different devices, such as what decisions visually influence their behaviour and discovering more about how they use the website.

A more advanced analyst is needed for a Supplier Insight focused position which sits on a sub-team of five others, working with one of their top FMCG suppliers to learn as much insight as they can about their shared customers by extracting, manipulating and analysing data to make critical recommendations to senior stakeholders, and involves a lot of visits and presentations.

All insight analysts for this team are required to have advanced understanding of Excel and SQL coming from a retail or customer facing environment who is motivated by the customer and human behaviour related to shopping trends, with a numerate or technical degree (2:1+) and a Maths A-Level at a grade B or above. Commercial experience using a data visualisation tool such as Tableau would be beneficial too.

Should you feel you’re able to tick all the boxes with the essential requirements, please get in touch with Nichol Quest-Herelle at Success Digital to find out more about the position and apply.
