Web Developer required to join one of Wiltshire’s most respected and fastest growing digital agencies at their lovely offices near to Salisbury. With a very established client base of 80-100 the time is right for them to bring development in house and build a development team to work closely with their fantastic digital and design team.
What experience you'll need
They’d like to see solid experience of PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS along with a good knowledge of Javascript/JQuery and CMS (ideally Wordpress). Along with examples of your work, they would expect you to be able to show examples of how you can work effectively as part of a team, manage your time and workload well working directly with clients and their first class design team.
What you'll be doing
The core responsibility within the role is code new websites growing all internal digital solutions and working with the head of design to manage the client pipeline. You’ll be eager to push the digital boundary of the business and take ownership of projects, evaluating technology and suggesting improvements where possible. Working within the e-commerce and education sectors, the work will never be dull; there’s a great opportunity for someone to make their mark on the business and potentially become head of development in the future as they grow.
What you'll get in return for your talents
There’s some great benefits on offer to go with training, progression, full end-to-end project experience and a friendly supportive team. The role will sort someone sociable to join them on their regular lunches out, team trips (the last one was a murder mystery) and shoot pool with them on their office table.
