Account Manager
This small but growing agency in South West London are seeking a Digital Account Manager to come on board.

A particular area of growth for the agency is in the provision of content created specifically for online and social media distribution. This agency currently employs a team of two whose focus is purely on the digital side of the business: Head of Digital and Account Executive, digital communications.

They are now looking to recruit an Account Manager to join the team. Initially reporting to the Head of Digital, the new recruit will take on considerable responsibility from April 2017 when the Head of Digital goes on Maternity leave. The position for which they are recruiting is a permanent position: they anticipate that demand for their digital services will continue to expand and that the Head of Digital will resume her position when she returns from leave.

This agency is a small team that works collaboratively - they don't really do hierarchies, but they are looking for someone who can manage the online offer for their clients, working in close collaboration with the Account Managers.

What you will be doing....

1.Planning the online and social media strategy.
2.Thinking creatively around a brief.
3.Writing engaging, intriguing and informative content.
4.Planning, executing and evaluating advertising campaigns across all the most commonly used social media channels: including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
5.Ensuring social media channels are populated with engaging and well-targeted content.
6.Building levels of engagement and following.
7.Ensuring all copy for websites is well optimised for search engines.
8.Managing the Account Executive - digital.
9.Reporting and evaluating all campaigns
10.Working with outside suppliers for the provision of video content and website design

To manage their clients effectively, everyone needs to gain an understanding of the building industry - this can involve muddy feet! They pride themselves on the ability to write effective copy for different audiences so you need to be able to get technical when required and to get under the skin of everyone within the supply chain - from architects to plumbers, from legislators to electricians.
What you will have....

*Love social media
*Have a technical mind and be up to date with search engine and social media algorithms
*Have an understanding of search engine optimisation techniques
*Be curious. Questions are not only good - they're essential
*Be able to manage tasks efficiently and accurately
*Enjoy liaising with people at all levels of management

Your background is likely to be in design / web development / online marketing. You will be a self-starter who enjoys working on their own initiative and you will love technology. You will thrive on working in a small team where everyone is actively encouraged to develop their skills, try new things and challenge themselves but do not expect to be micro-managed.
