Our client is a leading international manufacturer and marketer of complete solutions that identify and protect people, products and places.

The purpose of the role is to deliver a sustainable pipeline of differentiated product solutions to effectively solve our customers unmet needs. Leverage our customer Intel teams in order to identify opportunities that can be commercialized. Ensure all activity is customer validated and all opportunities are sized and prioritized. Perform necessary testing to ensure solutions are well received by customers. Take the solutions to market and facilitate effective commercialisation.


Customer led approach- Work with the Intel leaders to understand customer's unmet needs within the frame work of our strategic focus. Analyse those needs & prioritise opportunities

Ideation & Collaboration - Co-ordinate and collaborate with an EMEA group of Product Managers to ideate around those prioritised needs and produce a potential portfolio of solutions. Contribute to the differentiated product pipeline acceleration target.

Customer validation - Leverage focus groups, surveys, sales team and customer visits to validate and enhance those potential solutions

Commercial assessment - Commercially assess the potential of each opportunity both internally and externally and prioritise which projects will have the most promising return - effort v's reward.

Proto-typing & Testing - Work with our internal production leaders and also vendors with production capabilities to produce prototypes and test

Setup / Launch products - Work with the Ops teams to setup the product internally from a costing, BOM's & Routings perspective and provide the merchandising and digital teams with the relevant content to publish - images, USP's, positioning, pricing

Ensure effective commercialisation - Liaise with the Marcoms team to ensure the most suitable promotion channels are leveraged and the messaging & positioning is optimised. Ensure continued promotional focus on our differentiated product portfolio across all regions. Challenge the local teams to select appropriate existing and new channels / vehicles to market these products - ensure USP's are leveraged to their fullest potential.

Product performance analysis - Analyse sales and continually work with the local Product Managers to optimise revenue and profitability from the products on-going. Report out on a monthly basis.

Communication - Maintain a constant awareness of our differentiation focus, pipeline and achievements throughout the EMEA organisation in order to be an ambassador of our differentiation efforts to the EMEA product teams

Car Allowance

This role is extremely exciting due to its wide breadth of activity and potential for the candidate to drive their own success. It is located in our Stockport office / manufacturing site, co-located with an existing Product Innovation Manager with considerable experience of the company and it's products. This role would suit a Marketing Manager or Senior Product Manager looking to broaden their scope and autonomy.
