Marketing Optimisation Analyst - The Company

My client is a fast-moving games business known for one of the UK's best-loved consumer brands. This is an opportunity to join their player strategy and planning team.

Marketing Optimisation Analyst - The Role

The main purpose of this role is to apply analytical tools and frameworks to identify value pools for my client (both in the market and the base) and work with the digital and marketing teams to develop suitable contact strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- To lead analytics which establish a robust understanding of the client's marketing effectiveness using techniques such as econometrics and attribution modelling, working with key external partners
- To use these frameworks to develop strategies on how the client can optimise its marketing investment across channels working with key partners within digital and marketing
- To support regulatory and policy efforts to enhance the client's growth strategy through providing clear diagnosis on the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns
- To work with the Digital team on the implementation of appropriate testing tools to evaluate the impact of different marketing treatments on consumer behaviour and value
- To evaluate the impact of the client's through the line marketing activity, providing a clear view of channel contributions and working with digital to develop attribution modelling
- Where appropriate manage external analytics providers to deliver best in class player analytics

Marketing Optimisation Analyst - Key Skills

- Proven analytical skills and ability to interpret/analyse complex customer and retail data in an efficient way to drive insight
- Experience in developing business reporting and KPI dashboards for a full picture of channel and consumer performance
- Presentation and communication skills, able to present confidently to senior managers and cross functional teams
- Proven ability to take Information from multiple sources (sales, consumer, customer and macro trends) to formulate Insight and provide recommendations and options to influence the strategy
- Understanding of segmentation methodology and how to create and develop a segmentation for business advantage
- Experience of working with campaign teams to create effective targeting models and of tracking campaign performance
- Demonstrable experience of using customer databases and associated tools for analytics and web analysis tools to understand consumer web behaviour
- Project management skills and proven experience in managing analysis projects from brief to Insight delivery
- Strong commercial awareness and proven experience of incorporating financial awareness and business implications into the recommendations derived from holistic insight
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools for analysis and presentations
- Knowledge of advanced data modelling/ analysis tools & techniques preferred
