One of the top global law firms is looking for a Business Development specialist, based in their London office, who will be tasked with providing business development, pitching and client development support to the firm' London EMEA Energy, Infrastructure, Project & Asset Finance (EIPAF) partners.

Reporting to the Associate Director of EMEA EIPAF, the role holder will provide support on all aspects of business development and marketing activities to London EIPAF and implement a range of initiatives. From a business development perspective, you will be responsible for the preparation of pitches, proposals, capability statements and other client presentations and seminar materials and ensure that the client team delivers these pitches to the highest of standards and to deadline. You will help drive the implementation of the EMEA EIPAF priority client programme, acting as a high level ambassador for the InterAction system and its benefits to BD, proactively initiating ideas for new and existing client relationship development and supporting the partners and client teams to develop client relationships, share information and generally raise the practice profile across EMEA. The BD Manager (EIPAF) will also help with the preparation and submission of directory and award submissions; liaise with peers in the Americas, Asia and EMEA to develop a relevant, informative and user-friendly practice profile on the firm's intranet site and website; work closely with the central marketing team, updating existing marketing materials and preparing new materials; deliver client, financial, market, sector and 'decision-maker' research and analysis; and work closely with the Associate Director and central events team to ensure successful event management, including follow up.

You must have a strong academic record, be robust, self-motivated and possess the ability to build trust and respect among colleagues. A team player with a can-do attitude and outstanding communication and influencing skills, it is essential that you have extensive relevant experience in business development gained whilst working in a global law or professional services environment, including experience working with CRM systems, ideally InterAction.
