Event Co-ordinator
Poole, Dorset
£25,156 - £29,595 DOE

Our client is the charity that saves lives at sea. They are looking for an Event Co-ordinator with an enthusiastic approach to join the Naming Events section of their Event Logistics Team.

The ideal candidate will have some prior event experience (either event management graduate or having worked within a support role in events) and will be able to demonstrate their skills in administration, client / volunteer management; event planning and delivery to produce great results in a time critical environment.

As an Event Co-ordinator, your primary responsibility will be planning and delivering the individual events that make up our client’s Naming Events programme which represents significant moments within both the volunteer communities and donor stewardship.

This is very much a “hands on” role so they are looking for someone that is equally adept at loading and transporting equipment to an event as managing the admin and planning within the office, excellent people skills are also required both in terms of stakeholder management and networking at events.

As our client’s events can be based anywhere in the UK or Republic of Ireland, they are looking for an independent individual that is happy to travel extensively for work.

This post requires a valid driving licence.

If you are looking for a flexible working arrangement, please include in your personal statement what your preferred working arrangements would be.

Our client has been bringing people together to save lives at sea without prejudice for nearly 200 years. Their staff and volunteers continue to make a real difference and they rely on the diversity of their skills, background and perspectives to successfully deliver their lifesaving service. Our client is committed to being an inclusive organisation and welcome applications for all roles from everyone; all they look for in applicants are the skills they need and a willingness to share their commitment to preventing loss of life at sea.
