Account Director - Healthcare Advertising & Branding
The largest, most creatively awarded healthcare advertising in the UK is offering a rare opportunity for an Account Director, ideally but not necessarily, with an impressive track record in healthcare advertising & branding. You must however have proven leadership skills and a burning desire to exceed expectations. The company is based in Windsor and handles campaigns for some of the biggest brands from some of the best-know pharma companies in the world. They are ranked among the UK’s Top 50 Advertising Agencies and have won multiple global and local awards, including three Cannes Lions for the best independent healthcare agency of the year.
The agency is very well established, with 100 permanent staff, an annual turnover in excess of £15 million and one of the most impressive client lists in the sector. You will head up one of three teams in their account handling department and reporting to the CSD. You must therefore be comfortable leading teams and bring an impressive track record of handling senior clients; building relationships at senior level; being used to working within a B2B environment across the UK and internationally; working with local affiliates to implement global campaigns, managing financial budgets, conducting performance reviews with staff, coaching, and implementing learning and development plans.
The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare advertising, including branding, digital execution, and launch materials. A life-science degree or equivalent medical or nursing qualification is useful but we are more interested in talking to candidates with a broad knowledge of the healthcare area including top pharmaceutical brands.
