An innovative consumer home furnishings company is currently looking for a fluent German speaking Marketing Manager to help drive their expansion into the German market. This young brand is on a mission to disturb the traditional Multi-Billion Pound industry they sit within. With proven USP's and endorsements in the market, this company have far exceeded their projected turnover targets in their first full 6 months of trading.

Currently enjoying great success in the US, Canada and the UK with a disruptive business model; the product proposition and core company values will remain the same across all international territories.

The role of the Marketing Manager will be to tailor the messaging and marketing mix for the German market, and develop and implement a successful marketing plan. The Marketing Manager will also be expected to support on expansion into other European countries. The ideal candidate will have at least three years experience in a marketing role, and should be able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the German market and consumer motivations.

The role will be based in the company's UK office in Manchester. The successful candidate will be supported by the UK Marketing team and German customer experience team.
Occasional travel to Germany should also be expected as part of the role.

*Researching and providing ongoing insights into consumer behaviour, marketing channels/technology, and industry developments in the German market.
*Developing and implementing plans for both online and offline marketing activity, with support from the UK team.
*Assisting in sourcing and briefing a German PR agency, and working with them on an ongoing basis.
*Assisting the worldwide social impact team set up the company's German programme.
*Managing re-targeting, display and native advertising for the German market.
*Managing Paid Search campaigns for the German market.
*Managing Paid Social campaigns (primarily Facebook ads) for the German market.
*Managing organic social activity for the German market.
*Developing relationships with bloggers, vloggers and social media personalities.
*Developing content for the German blog.
*Responsibility for sourcing and working with other partners/ marketing channels, as deemed necessary from the marketing plan.
*Supporting across other business functions (such as customer service) during the early stages of market entry.
*Supporting on future expansion into other European territories.

Person Specification:
*Educated to degree level, in a Marketing or Business related discipline.
*At least three years' experience in a marketing role.
*Fluent in German, both written and spoken.
*Fluency in other European languages an advantage.
*Excellent knowledge of the German market, and consumer motivations.
*Experience of working with Adwords and Facebook Ad Manager.
*Experience of working across social media channels.
*Experience of working with bloggers.
*Strong communication skills.
*A proactive and positive attitude.

£30,000 - £40,000 (Dependant on the candidate)

Required language: Fluent German written and spoken
