Offline Marketing Assistant – Colchester – £20,000 OTE £30,000+

We are looking for an eager and organised Offline Marketing Assistant looking to grow their career, to join a leading Leisure operator in their Colchester, Essex offices.

About the Role

As the Offline Marketing Assistant your main responsibility would be to aid the Marketing Team in the production of offline marketing campaigns promoting cruises to an audience of both existing customers and prospects, in order to attract profitable sales.

  • Marketing administrative duties including filing and data input
  • Produce copy with excellent attention to detail
  • Proof reading to ensure all copy produced is accurate, grammatically correct and is attractive to ensure promotions are commercially strong resulting in profitable results
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the target audience and ensure that the tone, language and creative is appropriate at all times
  • Prepare internal campaign briefs for the sales teams to ensure they are able to convert all enquiries into bookings with ease
  • Placing orders for promotional added value gifts
  • Awareness of sales, figures and targets generated from marketing campaigns
  • Maintain thorough industry knowledge and commercial awareness gained through ongoing training and research
  • To maintain professional relationships internally and with external partners
  • Awareness of competitor marketing activity and promotions

About You

  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You will have first rate organisational skills and attention to detail
  • You have the ability to work well as part of a team and independently on projects and marketing activities
  • You are able to meet tight deadlines and multi task under pressure
  • Previous experience within the Leisure industry would be beneficial but not required
  • You will be seeking continual self-development – awareness of products, clients, marketing and industry
  • Ability to meet challenging deadlines along with efficiently prioritising own workload
