Our client is a leading multi-channel retailer within their market. In order to help kepp the growth rate they are currently seeing they are looking for a Marketing Analyst. This role would see you responsible for all customer and prospect campaign selections; from the initial planning stages to implementation and on through to analysis and evaluation.

Core Responsibilities
*To be responsible for all customer and prospect campaign selections; from the initial planning stages to implementation and on through to analysis and evaluation.
*To deliver reporting, insight, recommendations and solutions for commercial growth.
*To be responsible for accurate reporting, insight and recommendations on all customer and prospect contacts.
*Delivery of targeting, research and analysis to drive leading strategies to improve customer and prospect response, retention and growth.
*Working closely with other people across the team, across the business and with external agencies to ensure common goals are achieved and marketing spend and return is optimised.
*Responsible for reporting on key performance indicators for on and offline marketing activities providing recommendations which enhance profitability whilst maintaining growth.
*To champion a customer centric view, with the integration of on and offline activities and results.
*You will take ownership for nurturing and developing data driven marketing strategies and best practice across the marketing team.

Key Accountabilities
Planning & CRM:
*Working with the marketing team to plan the annual communications programme to the mail order, retail and podiatry database which will include timings, frequency, promotions, tests and selections;
*Ensuring that all campaigns are constructed to allow for future growth; robust test and control structures, timely analysis of ROI, and meaningful roll out potential;
*Ensuring that all campaigns and selection adhere to company policies and the Data Protection Act;
*Overseeing database maintenance for marketing preferences and look up tables including mailing histories;
*Ensure the customer and prospect base is cleansed on a regular basis, in an appropriate and cost effective manner;
*Delivering accurate selections for all marketing campaigns; ensuring appropriate communications to all segments of the database;
*Delivering accurate and complete selection briefs and data to all relevant parties in a timely manner;
*Keeping essential day-to-day processes running effectively; reviewing current efficiencies of processes and data storage and recommending improvements;
*Delivering accurate forecasts to enable appropriate staffing levels in the Call Centre;

*Understanding, evaluating and improving customer and prospect segmentations;
*Seeking enhancements to improve targeting and grow the base and profits;
*Management of 3rd parties who can be used to enhance database selections and targeting at the optimum profitable level;
*Evaluating current communications; making recommendations towards improved data driven segment strategies.

Reporting & Analysis
*Providing timely and accurate evaluation and in depth analysis of customers, prospects and campaigns on a daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc basis;
*Providing the marketing team with MI where required;
*Providing insight, evaluation and recommendations at segment level to achieve active growth;
*Delivering monthly board papers.

Budgetary Control:
*To assist in the development of the annual online plans to achieve pre-determined growth objectives, using previous performance and knowledge to determine, timings, volumes, segment specific strategies, frequency, promotions, tests and selections;
*To support other members of the team with budgetary planning based on Database insight and previous performance;
*To ensure that all activity is produced within budget and reports are delivered on time and accurately and to the right people;
To maintain budgetary records as agreed, and to manage the purchase order and invoicing process.

Skills Required
*Numerate degree (Maths, Stats, Science, Engineering, Marketing or Business related)
and demonstrable numerical ability.
*High level of proficiency with Excel.
*Experience of SQL preferred or working knowledge of SAS, SPSS, R or similar.
*Some knowledge of Programming or Query languages essential, along with a desire to learn more.
*Experience of Web Analytics (any package) advantageous.
