The Paid Search Account Manager Role 

We’re looking for a Paid Search Account Manager to join our expanding media team. You will have a deep knowledge of PPC, Analytics and Paid Social. Planning to attract, target and convert should come as second nature. Reporting to the Head of Media you will take ownership when in client facing situations to communicate results and have a consultative approach when making recommendations based on your findings. You will take responsibility for the day to day output of 3 Junior team members, work collaboratively with digital media strategists to build strategy plans, and oversee all key Client accounts.

Sectors: Higher Education, Travel & hospitality, and F&B.

Your Experience:

+ Experience in an agency environment is essential – we’re looking for someone with 3+ years.


+ Proven experience in Paid Search/PPC/Paid Social (minimum 3 years) – clearly understand digital media landscape, and can talk consultatively to clients about challenges and opportunities
+ Depth of client management experience – has worked closely with clients F2F, via phone and email on a daily basis to set strategies, implement +£50k a month cross-channel plans and regularly report progress
+ Experience of managing Junior team members – overseeing their day to day client interactions and account optimisations/ set-ups
+ We’re looking for someone with an excellent eye for detail – you will be juggling multiple senior client stakeholders, staff members, and client strategies – you’ve got to be flexible and dynamic, whilst ensuring excellent processes and teamwork within your team drive excellent results for our clients
+ Confidence in developing robust Digital media strategy and plans, and presenting to senior client stakeholders
+ Excellent written and communication skills
+ Excellent understanding of tracking methodologies and techniques
+ The ability to work with a variety of digital professionals (from creatives to techies) in order to effectively implement and track campaigns
+ A love of all things digital, and an ability to present yourself as a digital consultant

Nice to have

+ Organic search experience
+ Experience in creating and implementing multi-lingual campaigns, across global territories
+ Experience working in partnership with other agencies – whether creative, brand consultancy, PR or ATL media buyers

You may have worked in the following capacities:
Search Manager, PPC Manager, PPC Account Manager, Paid Search Manager.
