A lovely lifestyle brand is looking to bring in an eCommerce Executive to drive the digital acquisition strategy for their award-winning site. This business is hugely respected in their sector so you’ll be working with a recognised name in a relaxed working environment. Already hitting significant online figures there’s plenty of scope to develop in the future, so a great one for anyone wanting to accelerate their career in the digital field.

What you’ll be doing

Even though they have a team of 17-20 in the head office, they have a flat management structure a lean ecommerce setup. With an in-house content executive and an external technical agency, the various digital marketing channels remain a relatively untapped source for customer acquisition. Therefore the need to bring someone in with broad digital skills across a mix of specialities is a must for the team. Areas will include pay-per-click (ppc), natural search (seo), affiliate networks, re-targeting and google shopping. With the site being well optimised with respect to user experience and maximising conversions, there is less to do on this side of things (especially with the external agency here too). However, having a good insight into this side of eCommerce will also play well to your strengths.

What experience you’ll need

We can’t emphasis enough the need for a broad digital marketing skillset here with the breadth of channels you’ll be working on. eCommerce knowledge will be ideal given the softer skills mentioned above, although digital marketers from other backgrounds will also be considered. If you have knowledge in some but not all of the channels mentioned above, do still enquire as the team are open to this being a development opportunity for the right person.

What you’ll get in return for your talents

A competitive salary of between £27-30k, possibly stretching up to £35k for someone who has strong digital marketing experience in all channels for an eCommerce business. Saying that, they would be open to more junior options below £27k who have a nice breadth of skills and the tenacity to grow into the role and push their own development.
