A well-known Media business is seeking a Data Analyst on an initial 6 month contract with the view to go permanent to join their growing London team.

Your new company
This company is an award-winning special interest content and platform company. They are one of the biggest consumer media businesses in the UK and one of the largest magazine media publishers. They publish world-class content and every month reach over 16 million highly engaged UK consumers across 70+ multiplatform brands. This company are now looking for a data analyst to join their growing London team.

Your new role
You will use a range of analytical and statistical techniques, interrogate data held within the marketing database (subscriptions, transactional, email behavioural, web, lifestyle and demographic variables) to deliver cutting edge data insight and analysis. Using these insights you will help support the ambitions of Immediate Media to build a transaction focused business governed by the best use of customer data. You will build on the existing reporting suite, put in place both regular reporting to cover campaign analysis, ROI and attribution reporting and KPI dashboards. Overall you will interpret, collate and communicate key insights to marketing and CRM teams to drive campaign optimisation and content strategy.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have an excellent understanding of relational databases and analytical techniques. You will have experience working with customer data and be advanced in Excel. You will have experience with Faststats or a comparable platform as well as experience with statistical tools such as SAS and SPSS. You will have the ability to present findings and recommendations both verbally and using PowerPoint.
