An opportunity has become available within a local clinical commissioning group based in London/Kent, the organisation has strong values and keeps its residents at the heart of its decisions and is looking for someone who can fit these values. The role is an initial part time temporary contract paying a competitive wage.

Your new role

Your new role will be to support the communications and engagement team to help develop and co-ordinate projects, regular newsletters, marketing and engagement material. You will act as the first point of contact for the public and incoming staff communications through management of the communications inbox. You will also need to upload content to the CCG website and the intranet and undertake administrative support for the team when required.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will need an understanding of a range of communication and engagement work procedures and practices and you will need to be able to provide and receive complex information. The ideal candidate will also have experience and knowledge of working in a busy press/communications environment as well as previous experience of working in the NHS. Good audio typing/digital dictation and minute taking skills is essential.
