Web Tester needed to join an innovative, fast-paced digital agency in central Bristol who work with some awesome international clients.  If you’re looking to work on interesting projects, pick up automated experience and work within a fun, sociable team then this is definitely the one for you!

What skills you'll be needing

As the main Web Tester they’ll be looking for you to have 2-4 years’ experience of testing websites for functionality and accuracy through manual and increasingly automated QA activities.  You’ll need to have experience in areas including test analysis, system functional testing, regression testing and system integration testing. You’ll need a high level of automated testing skills on both web and device (Selenium / Browserstack).  It’s expected that you’ll be familiar with HTML and CSS as well as an understanding of some CMS. You’ll need to have experience of working with devs to plan, design and create automated tests for releases.  If you have any of the following highly desirable skills that would be fantastic; ISEB/ISTQB, Automated testing knowledge, software testing (n-tier/enterprise), API testing, database testing, Windows scripting (VB, Powershell etc), TestRail, Redmine or Ranorex.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be confident with strong communication skills so you’re comfortable to hit the ground running – evaluating and improving current test processes. You’ll be reporting directly to the Testing lead, testing a range of websites and web applications for functionality and accuracy with a highly skilled team of designers, developers and project managers. Within the role you will need to be a self-managed team player, managing your own time and being able to cope with multiple projects concurrently.  You’ll be responsible for all pre-launch website testing and seen as the expert within the digital team, this is a great chance to further your skills and get some really big name client project experience.
