A highly regarded, luxury department store with an unrivalled reputation and admirable heritage for high-quality products from around the word in the food, gifting, beauty & home categories, are looking to grow their developing online team by hiring a Web Analyst to work alongside one other.

They’ll be relying on you to work together in delivering insights into all aspects of ecommerce and influencing the strategy. The Web Analyst will report into the inspirational and supportive Senior Online Trading Manager who is a real heavy-weight, seasoned professional in the industry.

You’ll be responsible for providing business-critical, actionable insight to enable optimisation and continuous improvement of the online customer experience by producing all regular KPI reports for the ecommerce team, analysing customer behaviour and interpreting trends in conversion data.

As well as analysing metrics associated with ROI, the Web Analyst will evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to identify performance issues, provide improvement suggestions and increase traffic. This will involve platform tagging and campaign tracking using Google Tag Manager.

As you'll have many key interfaces internally and externally across the business, they are looking for the Web Analyst to have high social skills as well as an expert awareness on ecommerce and a commercial acumen so you can advise on them what needs to be changed.

Previous experience of working as an analyst in an ecommerce environment is crucial, as well as a daily usage of Google Analytics or a similar tool. As a competent Web Analyst, you'll have analysed data from various sources, translating analytics findings to improve trading performance.
