A major broadcast network is looking for a Head of Programme Planning to join them for a period of 12months in December 2016 to cover a period of Maternity Leave.

This is a Head of Position with line management responsibility for 2 of their Key Channels for UK, African and Polish Feeds. It will be your responsibility to set, evolve and execute short, medium and long term programming strategies for your folio of channels that deliver growth across all programming, commercial and brand KPI.

You will manage a team of programme planners to design competitive and imaginative schedules for their Channel group. You will also work closely with the Research, Acquisitions, Marketing, Promos and Operations team to ensure strong multi-channel performances and maximum audience retention through complementary and commercially effective scheduling.

To be considered for this role it is essential that you have worked across a mix of content including drama, scripted and USA content as well as a solid understanding of the UK market place (Both F2Air and Pay TV)
