An investment content-led marketing and team leadership role with a FTSE Wealth Manager.

Managing a team of five and reporting to the Head of Marketing, the purpose of your role will be to provide investment content for professional and institutional audiences through a variety of offline and online media.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Be accountable and responsible for four direct reports ensuring they follow our guidelines, policies and practices
  • Participate and actively engage in the performance management process to ensure your team attains and maintains competence within their respective roles
  • Comply and adhere to rules and regulations as stated by the regulator and set out in our internal policies
  • Be responsible for writing relevant and high-end market/investment services pieces for a variety of media in a timely manner
  • Developing a strong understanding of the business' services, strategies, structure and unique selling points; communicate these in completing pitches and other new business related documents to help the company win investment mandates
  • Support the Investment Communications Committee with ideas and content for the promotion of investment management services
  • Work with the PR company to oversee the delivery of key brand messaging and secure placed article opportunities to enhance the firm's reputation as an investment manager of choice
  • Producing communications and investment content suitable for retail and intermediary audiences including:

Service/product brochures, flyers and other promotional items such as investment guides

Pitch presentations and other materials, bespoke presentations

Advertising copy


Factsheet updates

Content for the Insight blog and other digital channels such as webinars and videos

Client servicing content e.g. letters, application forms

  • Ensure all investment-related materials across all client segments are of high quality and consistently represent the firm's investment services and capabilities in a way that is relevant to the given audience
  • Work closely with the wider marketing team, investment management teams, research and risk to assist in the formulation, communication and implementation of materials
  • Manage deadlines, workflow, priorities and internal client expectations effectively in order to best fulfil client requirements
  • Use knowledge of economic/market events and competitor information to proactively provide relevant market commentary to investment managers and Marketing that will add value to client communication
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders at Head Office and across the regions

Experience, qualifications and experience:

  • Team leader with experience of 2 or more direct reports
  • Excellent understanding of the Financial Services industry
  • Well-developed technical knowledge of asset classes, market drivers and economic knowledge and expertise required to undertake fundamentals
  • Strong writing skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work with internal clients at all levels
  • Commercial acumen, strong negotiation skills
  • Good organisational skills, ability to manage own priorities and meet tight deadlines
