Senior Account Director – Advertising Agency – Central London – to £65k + good benefits

Iconic central London advertising agency seeks a talented (integrated) Senior Account Director to work on a high profile skincare brand account.

You need beauty brand experience for this role alongside integrated experience including a good digital skill set alongside ATL (including TV) experience.

The Account

The account is a significant global client for the agency. The agency are the lead creative and strategic agency so you will develop campaigns from origination.

The Senior Account Director Role

This Senior Account Director will be part of a large, lively team working with a progressive and successful client who is constantly looking to evolve what and how they communicate.

The agency are looking for an accomplished Senior Account Director to lead ‘across discipline’ projects including ATL communications.

The Senior Account Director is responsible for the implementation of campaigns across all communications disciplines. Campaigns may be originated or adapted for local use.

Key Requirements for the Senior Account Director Role

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following experience:

• Integrated experience: a track record of truly integrated experience, implementing effective campaigns across a number of channels and including good digital and social. The candidate must be able to demonstrate and give worked examples of their experience, particularly their role and contribution to specific campaigns.

• Strong commercial capabilities: the candidate must be able to demonstrate that they have run a profitable account and taken into consideration commercial requirements when managing an account, e.g. legal, compliance as well as finance.

• Client relationships: the candidate must be able to “command a room” and be confident and comfortable in a client-facing situation. They will be able to demonstrate how they have nurtured and built relationships with mid-level and senior clients.

• Creative Work: Demonstrate being part of a team who delivered a canon of strong effective creative work.

• Effectiveness: Have a strong, results-driven attitude and a passion for how the work will move key KPIs, be they brand opinion, views, shares or sales.

• Strategic thinking: the candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of how they have been involved in and contributed to strategic conversations involving brand positioning, business objectives and channel strategy.

In addition, they will also need the following capabilities:

• An enthusiastic approach and a relentlessly positive attitude are vital to success working on the account. The ideal Senior Account Director will thrive on challenge and exceeding expectations.

• Initiative and pro-activity are key; the ability to find solutions and overcome obstacles in order to achieve results is essential.

• Great interpersonal skills with a commitment to developing the team. Must have people management experience and be able to demonstrate the ability to manage and motivate.

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with experience of successfully selling in strong creative and strategic ideas.

• Commercial focus; a record of delivering client financial targets and growing profitable revenue.

• Strategic thinker who has worked with planners to develop strategies and effectively managed the team to deliver to the strategy.

• Good creative understanding and experience in stretching an idea into multiple channels.

• A team player with a down-to-earth attitude.
