CRM Manager
An opportunity for a CRM or Email Marketing expert to join a leading media and entertainment business with a varied portfolio of digital products. The role of CRM Manager / Email Marketing Manager / Digital Direct Marketing Manager will lead a team of 2 and own, optimise and deliver an innovative end-to-end customer contact programme.

Working with a wide ranging product portfolio and cutting edge CRM technology the CRM Manager / Email Marketing Manager / Digital Direct Marketing Manager will drive effective acquisition, engagement and retention strategies.

Your key responsibilities as CRM Manager / Email Marketing Manager / Digital Direct Marketing Manager will include:

Plan and manage strategies to grow the channels, but also get stuck in if needed.
Manage direct reports' development plans and PDPs and review continually to ensure objectives are being met
Work with data insights which will drive decision making processes (Database mining, list segmentation and contact targeting)
Operational and tactical end-to-end email and mobile channel campaign management
Monitor and provide regular feedback/ insight on campaign effectiveness and performance reporting
Establish an efficient and cost effective offer plan in which targeted offers are tailored to most lucrative segments
Lead email optimization and test/measure/learn to keep customers engaged and collaborate with pioneering agencies to deploy the latest technologies
Promote the CRM channel (primarily Email, to start with) internally to raise the profile of the CRM team and showcase performance to the relevant product team stakeholder
Manage, build and work with the wider Online team, Offline team, Product teams and other internal departments to support the implementation of email and mobile campaigns, guiding and recommending email best practice and legislative compliance

The role of CRM Manager / Email Marketing Manager / Digital Direct Marketing Manager will require experience of managing a small team of marketing executives and knowledge in the following areas:

Experience working within a CRM or digital/ direct marketing environment
Strong B2C experience
Track record in email campaign management and proficient use of an email broadcast tool
Extensive experience in managing and exploiting diverse data sets and using a campaign management tool such as Faststats
Passion for CRM and willingness to learn new technologies
Previous experience of managing projects, budgets and marketing communication agencies
Demonstrable experience to managing & influencing internal & external stakeholders across a number of different levels
Results orientated with evidence of ownership, delivery and exceeding of business metrics/objectives
Entrepreneurial spirit; ambitious, self-starter who is able to effectively navigate an ambiguous environment where plans/projects change at short notice
Flexible attitude, appreciate that the competitive landscape is constantly evolving and able to adapt approach accordingly.
