Your new company

You will be working for a well established HIV and Aids charity.

Your new role

You will join a growing fundraising team reporting into the Head of Major Gifts. You will lead on the development and operational implementation of the charities Special Events and Major Donor stewardship events programme. You will meet or succeed income targets as set by the Director of Fundraising. You will develop long term strategy for the Special Events programme, through the development of new income streams and the successful recruitment of Special Event participants. You will oversee the recruitment and management of celebrity supporters for all MGSE work.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience of managing Special Events. You will have experience of line managing staff and volunteers. You will have knowledge and understanding of the charity sector and relevant fundraising codes of practice. You will have experience of using Raiser's Edge or another fundraising software package. You will have experience of securing sponsorship for events/fundraising campaigns. You will be willing to travel within and occasionally outside London and sometimes at weekends.

What you'll get in return

You will receive 27 days holiday per annum and a pension allowance.
