BD & Marketing Executive (Clients & Markets) - 12 month FTC
A large Midlands based legal firm is looking for a Business Development & Marketing Executive on a 12 month fixed term contract basis to work in our its Clients & Markets team based in the firm's Birmingham office. The role holder will provide front line support to the marketing and business development team to deliver the marketing and business development programme.
The Business Development & Marketing Executive will enjoy a broad range of responsibilities and will be tasked with supporting the firm's sector strategy working to push and develop BD and cross-selling opportunities across the firm. You will lead individual, team and sector BD meetings; work closely with other team members to deliver sector specific events and targeted comms; assist on the delivery of tenders, ad-hoc proposals and pitch preparation; create campaigns from inception to delivery and measure return on investment; produce website, brochure copy, bespoke credentials and other marketing materials; carry out client and target research; and develop and maintain reports including tender and sales pipelines.
To prosper in this excellent regional position you will need a minimum of 3 years' experience working as part of a marketing or business development team, deploying the full marketing mix, in a professional services firm to include experience of delivering successful tenders and proposals, co-ordinating events and completing client and competitor research. The Business Development & Marketing Executive will need outstanding communication, influencing and project management skills with a strong attention to detail. Self-motivation, energy and a "can-do" personality that makes things happen are all essential.
