Our client is a rapidly growing but already established group organisation based in Lancashire, providing a diverse range of animal products for over 200 years, both B2C and B2B. The business are investing in expanding their marketing function to drive growth forward, looking to recruit several junior to senior positions across multiple brands within the organisation.

They are looking to recruit a Marketing Manager for one of over ten divisions within the wider business, with a minimum of 3 years marketing and product development experience and a B2C background, preferably retail/FMCG; the successful candidate will be innovative and driven, putting together propositions and implementing improvement of in-store presentation for the brand. This role will manage European distributors, involving some international travel.
This is a great opportunity for a tenacious, resilient marketer who is keen to get creative and build experience developing and implementing strategy to drive results within this division.

Some of the key accountabilities will include:

-Directing and managing Product Managers
-Ensuring all retailers work effectively to promote the brand and products
-Working closely with stores and groups to implement a Category Management Plan
-The development and implementation of clearly defined marketing strategy for the division
- Prioritising the Division Sales and Marketing requirements in order to form an annual plan, with the aim of maximising ROI for the individual division and group
-Working closely with the Sales Director and Country Sales Managers to formulate and implement annual sales and marketing initiatives for UK and International markets
-Identifying new product opportunities through market and competitor analysis - keeping up to date with competitive development
-Following an approved process to lead on product development with the R&D department
-Creating brand guidelines for the division
-Managing and maintaining key agencies
