April has gone by in a flash and May has already begun. It has been a busy few weeks, but what stands out, is we finally saw some sun! April 14th, the day of the Grand National the weather was beautiful and from there on I have been in high spirits.

My April highlight was a returning to Liverpool to attend Aintree Races. Grand National weekend is one of my favourite times of the year. I am usually not one for betting, but if I go to the races I want to get involved. I lack skill and luck, so I’m just there for the fun really. I love getting dressed up and being apart of the atmosphere. Around 150,000 people attend over the 3-day period and the course is always jam-packed. Being in the center of the crowd when a horse crosses the finish line is amazing and I think there is no better city to host it!

I was on such a high that weekend, but the reality of my time at home coming to an end hit me on the Sunday afternoon, as I packed my stuff to head back down to London. By Monday morning I was back in work mode and it has been hectic here ever since.

We have 63 Direct Employer jobs on the website, which means I am starting May off with a lot to manage. It is great to be working with such a diverse range of companies, operating in various sectors and I love that we are providing a large variety of Marketing & Digital jobs to our Jobseekers. Aptly worth a mention are The Betway Group, who are hiring across various departments; Horse Racing, Football and Casino, so go and take a look.
