More from Morgs- On The Races
Published: 01 May 2018
April has gone by in a flash and May has already begun. It has been a busy few weeks, but what stands out, is we finally saw some sun! April 14th, the day of the Grand National the weather was beautiful and the sun has been shining ever since.
My April highlight was a returning to Liverpool to attend Aintree Races. Grand National weekend is one of my favourite times of the year. I am usually not one for betting, but if I go to the races I want to get involved. I lack skill and luck and attend just for fun. Everyone is elated and I love getting dressed up and being apart of the amazing atmosphere. Around 150,000 people attend over the 3-day period and the course is always jam-packed. Being in the center of the crowd when a horse crosses the finish line is overwhelming and I think there is no better city to host it!
I was on such a high that weekend, but the reality of my time at home coming to an end hit me on the Sunday afternoon, as I packed my stuff to head back down to London. By Monday morning I was back in work mode and it has been hectic here ever since.
We have 63 Direct Employer jobs on the website, which means I am starting May off with a lot to manage. It is great to be working with such a diverse range of companies, operating in various sectors and I love that we are providing a large variety of Marketing & Digital jobs to our Jobseekers. Aptly worth a mention are The Betway Group, who are hiring across various departments; Horse Racing, Football and Casino, so go and take a look.
