Job Description:
The Marketing Manager (Events) will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising marketing strategies for the company’s events and conferences. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive attendee acquisition, engagement, and retention, ultimately contributing to the success of our events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event marketing, excellent project management skills, and a passion for creating memorable b2b event experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive marketing plans for events, including promotional campaigns, email marketing, social media strategies, content creation, and advertising initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams to define event objectives, target audience segments, and key messaging themes.
Coordinate with external vendors, sponsors, and partners to maximize promotional opportunities and ensure successful event execution.
Utilise marketing automation tools and CRM systems to manage event registration, attendee communication, and post-event follow-up.
Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, such as attendance rates, engagement levels, and marketing ROI, to optimize future event strategies.
Create compelling event collateral, including brochures, flyers, signage, and digital assets, to drive brand awareness and attendance.
Implement attendee feedback mechanisms, surveys, and satisfaction metrics to continuously improve event experiences and meet customer expectations.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in event marketing efforts.
About You:
A minimum of three years’ experience in event marketing, preferably in a B2B or in a corporate events environment.
Extensive experience in working in Technology related b2b events is Essential
Proven track record of successfully executing b2b marketing campaigns and driving attendance for large-scale events or conferences.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics tools.
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field. (desirable)
