Job title: Head of Creative
Location: Birmingham – 2 days office based
Salary: £50,000-£65,000
Contract: Full time, permanent
Start date: April – July 2024
The role:
In this role you will lead a senior team to develop and deliver the businesses over all creative strategy. You will be hands on in delivering a strategy developed by senior business leaders and add your creative flare to all elements of the brand to deliver a category leading brand.
Key requirements:
- Lead the creative team to come up with creative and innovative ideas in line with the brand and make a real impact.
- Make sure the brand’s style stays consistent across all aspects of branding, especially online.
- Support the creative and design team do their best work, giving them feedback and tips.
- Work with other teams to brainstorm and make sure the brand reaches its goals.
- Keep an eye on what’s hot online (like Meta, Google, and TikTok) and lead on out how to tell the businesses story there.
- Make the creative process smoother and efficient so that campaigns are delivered on time and in budget.
- Work closely with outside partners to make sure projects run smoothly.
- Work with external stakeholders and report on findings and campaigns
- Keep the team motivated and growing by setting clear goals and helping them learn and develop
- Encourage the team to think big and push the limits of what they can do creatively
Candidate criteria:
- Strong creative background and flare/vision
- Excellent proven experience in a similar role at a similar level
- Experience leading a creative team
- Previous experience in Adobe Suite and other design software
- Strong communication skills and strong personality with the ability to roll your sleeves up and deliver
- Previous experience in managing budgets
- Proven track record of delivering brand measurement uplift
- Experience working within a fast paced, retail environment
