Junior BD Manager (Corporate, Employment & IP)
A leading global law firm is hiring a Junior BD Manager to manage business development and marketing activities, for the Corporate, Employment & IP sectors, in a way which promotes both the profile of the business, develops key account relationships and enables revenue growth. This is to be achieved through the development of clear strategies and business plans, and management of an aligned range of marketing campaigns, communications and key account activity.
The role holder will directly manage resources within the BD team in order to ensure integrated marketing and client development plans are delivered in a timely and efficient manner, and to the highest quality. The role encompasses all aspects of business development and marketing and assumes a high degree of involvement with partners and associates. The Junior BD Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of business development and marketing campaigns, in line with sector business objectives and in consultation with sector and sub-sector groups and the creation of effective sector and sub-sector groups and the management of their communication, marketing and client development programs. You will be tasked with the creation and management of all marketing materials and activities including brochures, directory submissions, web pages, newsletters, reports, web-pages, seminars and conferences. The role holder will also contribute to the firm's Key Account Program through identification of key accounts, the establishment of client teams and the development and implementation of their plans and the formulation of relevant business development budgets and monitoring of business development expenditure
The successful candidate must be educated to degree level or possesses equivalent experience, and it will be desirable if you hold a professional marketing qualification. You should have proven experience of working as a Business Development practitioner within a fast-paced professional services environment, preferably within the legal industry. Marketing communications experience with good copy writing skills and an understanding of branding and design and the production of promotional materials is highly desirable. Experience of supervising and assisting in the coaching of junior team members will be highly advantageous. Strong IT skills with experience of CRM systems, preferably InterAction, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
