Digital Account Director, Central London - £55,000 to £60,000

A leading digital agency are on the lookout for an Account Director to join the team. The agency work across digital to create high quality solutions for their clients, this can include web, social, content, search, data and analytics. They pride themselves on having a multi-channel approach, happy to utilise new technologies and trends to create the highest quality digital output for their clients.

As Account Director you will be the client lead for multiple client accounts, the role will involve working closely with clients to help them achieve their business aims, you will have a consultative approach, helping clients understand how different digital channels can work together seamlessly to create high quality joined up digital strategy. You will be expected to manage client expectations from initial meetings and strategy through the production process to delivery, on going tweaks and analysis.


You will take control of the financial elements of your accounts and will always be looking to develop account revenue, making sure clients are always aware of all channels the agency can offer. The agency prides themselves on providing forward thinking solutions for their clients that can help their businesses grow, as such all candidates should have big ideas, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial approach.

Candidates will need an agency background, they will need to be capable of running multiple concurrent projects. They will need client service experience, being comfortable managing challenging clients, building client relations and pitching and developing new ideas. The agency has a flat structure with all team members being hands-on when needs be, helping each other and working together to develop skills and share knowledge.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and develop client relationships
  • Leading on strategy, creating high quality marketing solutions
  • Driving and developing profitable client relations
  • Identifying new opportunities for growth
  • Challenge and inspire client with strategic, well presented ideas
  • Gain extensive knowledge of clients business and business aims
  • Leading the account team, helping them develop ideas and skills
  • Take ownership of accounts
  • Making sure all work is completed to a high standard
  • Manage client expectations through delivery process
  • Financial ownership of accounts
  • Support new business development

Requirements include:

  • Digital agency experience
  • Client service experience
  • Knowledge of a variety of digital marketing channels Search, Programmatic, Analytics, SEO etc
  • Strategic approach
  • Entrepreneurial
  • Multi-channel marketing experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Pitching and presentation experience
  • Knowledge of CRM disciplines
  • Ability to develop revenue streams
  • Strong relationship builder
