Digital Marketing Manager
Our client is a professional membership agency based in Staffordshire. They are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join their growing digital team.
The successful candidate will be hands-on and dynamic individual who can bring solid all-round digital marketing experience. Responsible for the development of paid media and CRM activities, enabling the business to more effectively, reach and acquire new members, and rapidly increase engagement with the audience. The successful candidate will lead and develop a growing team of digital marketers, delivering highly effective digital marketing campaigns.
Role and Responsibilities:
Manage a team to run the day to day optimisation of our website and digital marketing channels.
Deliver a Digital Marketing Activity Plan, working with relevant agencies (where applicable), covering Programmatic, PPC and Paid Social.
Own the continued optimisation, test and learn approach.
Instil a performance-focused mind-set, orientated around acquisition and engagement.
An SEO expert, working with relevant agencies to improve organic performance.
Adopt and drive a customer-first experience, identify new audiences and refine our on-boarding, nurturing and retention strategies.
Ensure all campaigns have clear KPI’s to measure ROI. Produce monthly reports showing the impact of marketing activity and to inform ongoing optimisation.
Manage the content calendar, ensuring we are always current, relevant and purposeful.
Implement processes and refine cross-functional workflows.
Key Skills and Experience:
Previous all-inclusive experience of Digital Marketing e.g. using analytical tools, creating digital assets.
Experience of managing a team, supporting and coaching them to success.
Proficient in managing and delivering ROI from performance-based digital marketing channels e.g. Programmatic, PPC and Paid Social.
Experience of working with media and creative agencies to deliver and optimise digital marketing campaigns.
Able to effectively produce creative copywriting and brand messaging for digital assets and campaigns.
Excellent communication skills and have the ability to effectively share ideas and plans with the wider team and senior stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills, experienced in using analytical tools e.g. Google Analytics, MOZ/SEM Rush and social media monitoring tools.
Strong knowledge of using email marketing and social media to engage with audiences.
Possess a true passion for Digital Marketing.
Excellent organisational and project management skills to ensure projects are delivered within scope, time and budget.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to write clearly and interact well with audiences at all levels.
Holds a full UK/EU Drivers licence.
