Marketing Executive (Events & Campaigns) - Mid-Tier Law Firm
A leading mid-tier law firm requires a Marketing Executive - Events and Campaigns, to work collaboratively with Business Development and Marketing colleagues in order to deliver high quality events and multi-channel campaigns that both support the firm's profile and reinforces the firm's reputation in chosen markets.
Reporting to the Director of BD and Marketing, the Marketing Executive - Events and Campaigns, will work with fee earners and BD colleagues to understand the purpose of each individual event and plan the best format and structure to achieve event objectives, agreeing the metrics by which success will be measured. You will administrate every element of the firm's event delivery, including the scheduling of events, co-ordination of staff, catering, budgeting, venue hire and the arrangement of any other third party suppliers. You will collate guest lists, prepare invitation and promotional content, produce event collateral and provide regular communications internally and externally on event details and progress. The role holder will be responsible for the successful delivery of events and will be expected to attend key events and co-ordinate activity on-the-ground to provide a clear point of contact for enquiries and to ensure that events run smoothly. You will subsequently provide feedback on the response to events and lead post event debrief sessions on ROI and achievement of objectives. From a campaigns perspective, you will support BD colleagues in the conceptualising, development and execution of product promotion and profile raising campaigns and offer support including liaising with design and digital resource, copywriting and website updates. You will also work with marketing colleagues to build and execute marketing plans, utilising the firm's existing channels and other appropriate paid channels.
The ideal candidate will have a "can-do" attitude, high attention to detail and must possess previous experience of running events. Experience in other areas of marketing, particularly digital, is desirable but not essential. The Marketing Executive - Events and Campaigns, will also need to be methodical and systematic, with very good organisational skills to prioritise and multitask. The role is highly client facing and requires regular interaction, therefore candidates must be confident and able to deal with people at all levels.
