Account Director (Financial Services) – Off-Oxford Street Agency - To £55k

Dynamic integrated agency located in the heart of Ad Land is seeking a talented Account Director with financial services account experience to head up the agency’s FS team.

The agency is seeking a highly motivated Account Director who wants to take the next step to Senior Account Director – quickly.

The Account Director role

You will report directly into the agency’s CSD and work across three key client businesses which are and a mix of B2C and B2B clients.

You will also have an Account Manager reporting into you.

There is huge potential to grow the team too with multiple new business opportunities alongside some great brands both within financial services and other areas.

You will manage campaigns across a wide range of channels which cover customer engagement, loyalty, digital and digital build.

This will include CRM programmes (online and offline), a website re-skin and other rich media channel campaigns.

The Account Director role requirements

You should have four to five years’ + experience in an integrated / engagement agency, be passionate about evolving channels and knowledgeable about the latest developments in the industry.

The Account Director must ensure that the agency continues to create imaginative, ground-breaking ideas to build brands and drive profitability in accordance with the company’s values.

You must also have strong financial services experience across customer engagement and digital is essential. Government experience would be beneficial.

Finally, you need the ability to demonstrate empathy, strong listening and organisational skills, tenacity and determination with wit and intelligence.

Effective written communication, presentation, creative flair and negotiation skills are also needed as is the ability to make decisions and resolve problems quickly and effectively.

The ability to motivate and develop staff, demonstrate tact, diplomacy, discretion and maturity in relation to interacting with people at all levels is also a must-have!
