Marketing Manager – About the role:

The Marketing Manager role can be remotely based but may involve occasional trips to the HQ for meetings, attending roadshows and events in the country, team nights out and collaboration. Working as part of a small team and working in collaboration with an external marketing consultant, the Marketing Manager will design comprehensive marketing strategies, brand promotion, content marketing, performance evaluation and conduct market analysis.

The role will be focused on working within the Social Housing sector – so previous experience, knowledge of the sector, events and industry trends will be advantageous.

Marketing Manager –Key Responsibilities:

  1. Formulate comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to spotlight their solution.
  2. Campaign Management – plan, execute and refine multi-channel marketing campaigns encompassing social media, digital platforms, events to bolster lead generation.
  3. Brand Ownership -elevate their brand integrity and reputation through consistent branding across all marketing platforms.
  4. Content Management – help create compelling content spanning blog posts, articles, videos, and infographics to captivate target audiences.
  5. Market Analysis – conduct Market research and analysis identifying industry trends, customer demand, the competitive landscape to aid better marketing strategies.
  6. Performance Evaluation – monitor and assess the performance of marketing campaigns and utilise the data to refine and enhance future campaigns.
  7. Collaboration – work closely with external marketing consultant and internal teams to ensure alignment and adoption of marketing activities.
  8. Partnerships – nurture strategic partnerships and alliances with industry stakeholders or influencers to expand the company’s brand and presence in the sector.

Marketing Manager Essential Technical Skills:

Candidates must have some exposure to most of the skills listed below:

  • Ideally 5 years’ experience of working with a marketing role and able to demonstrate expertise in campaign management, strategic planning, and organisation.
  • Proficient understanding of digital marketing channels including SEO, SEO, Social Media, content & email marketing
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data metrics to improve marketing decisions, and performance.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies that have proven business benefit.
  • Creative and Innovative with ability to bring new ideas to their marketing function.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and remain calm under pressure and keep abreast of industry trends and adopt them into your marketing strategy.
  • Comfortable taking ownership and accountability to lead on marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong preference for previous marketing experience from the Social Housing Sector.
