Marketing Development Manager
Our client, an Industrial Supplies Specialist based in Nottinghamshire, is seeking a Marketing Manager to maintain and develop cost-effective marketing for the company that results in increasing numbers of high quality sales opportunities.
This is a varied and hands-on Marketing role and you will be responsible for creating marketing content, developing and executing marketing actions, and building on successes.
It goes without saying that you will be commercially focussed and have excellent communication skills along with a creative design flair.
You will also have a flair for creating promotional material that attracts attention, holds interest, generates a desire and prompts the buyer to take action.
Research, understand, adapt and apply best-practice marketing that is effective for the business model and markets.
Identify and recommend opportunities for effective marketing actions and execute them upon approval. (Price, product, promotion, place. Digital and traditional).
Create high quality copy for marketing purposes (web, e-shots, PR, etc).
Present product features and benefits (and their effect) on video.
Customise marketing for diverse industry segments and for export regions.
Ensure all marketing communications and material are consistent, effective and conform to standards.
Continually research and implement opportunities directly with existing suppliers for new products to promote.
Identify, collect and manage all information from suppliers that is needed for launching new products.
Regularly check/add/enhance/correct web content to corporate standards.
Monitor, report on, and act on, marketing effectiveness feedback as measured through tools such as Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools.
Recommend product ranges to add/remove.
Monitor competitor activity and recommend appropriate defensive or offensive responses.
Work within time and cost constraints to hit deadlines.
Ensure departmental procedures and corporate image guidelines are followed.
Produce clear and compelling copy for the selling of products and services.
