Your new company
This global company have a purpose built facility located in Birmingham. They specialise in the design and manufacture of safety systems used in commercial buildings. These can be safety rails, guard rails or fall protection systems. They are currently going through major growth and are looking to expand their product team to help grow business.
Your new role
As Product Manager you will have a pivotal role within the business to support the growth aspirations of the group. The Product Manager will be responsible for delivery of revenue and margin targets for your product category ensuring the delivery of the Group financial plans. You will track new product launches tracking product performance and managing the introduction and full life cycle of the group's products in your range. Key accountabilities include; sales and margin reviews, new product development, product launches, cost management, sales toolboxes and product testing. In additional the Product Manager will provide technical support to the sales team and support the Assistant Product Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
As Product Manager you will have previous experience working in a Product role that encompasses giving technical advice and providing solutions to internal and external customers. You will be educated to a degree standard related to engineering or a related subject. You will have exposure to CAD and understand technical drawings and diagrams. In additional the Product Manager will also have strong communications skills, enjoy competitor research and have a proven ability to work to deadline and achieve targets.
