Associate Marketing Manager
A leading accountancy firm are looking for a commercially astute Associate Marketing Manager to join their dynamic Marketing team.
The Marketing team is the perfect balance of strategic thinking and 'roll your sleeves up' marketing tactics. You will work within a team of 30 made up of a mixture of experience and expertise across marketing, business development and sales, whilst managing your own profit centres made up of sector and service experts. Critically, you will see your plans delivered: from working with partners to develop strategic plans, through to implementation and roll-out.
You will also be responsible for demand and lead generation in your profit centre through a number of marketing channels, including inbound marketing tactics such as direct and digital marketing, events, PR, advertising and social media.
You will influence change within the firm, help develop your profit centres' brand within their market, research and build target audiences, and work collaboratively with others to develop cross-selling opportunities. There are opportunities to generate new communications, to shape the brand, to coach partners and senior staff on business development. You'll work with teams in London, throughout the UK and even internationally. You'll be challenged, intellectually and professionally.
You will develop, implement and measure strategic business development and marketing plans within budget and proactively manage the activity of individual profit centres' projects, including BD campaigns. You'll develop and implement co-ordinated marketing and BD campaigns using the full marketing mix and research and identify suitable target audiences and build prospect lists. In addition you will develop and enhance the profile/brand in market sectors, working collaboratively with other team members to identify and develop cross-selling opportunities and generate ideas for topics of communication through service and sector knowledge. You will use analytics to assess campaign success and inform future marketing activity, produce compelling communication messages, and coach partners and senior staff on business development including persuasion, negotiation and presenting. You will work with fee earners to help them build and progress their own personal pipeline, assist with client retention and client care strategies, and proposals and tenders.
You must be a team player with the right skills, experience and personality. Effective with your time, proactive, accountable and intuitive is a must, alongside proven relevant delivery of the full marketing mix in a professional services environment. You'll have a degree and/or CIM qualification desirable and proven experience of delivering the full marketing mix in professional services (accountancy desirable). You'll have the ability to manage projects simultaneously, often with critical deadlines, have good communication, persuasion and motivational skills, strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, CRM databases, email marketing tools and website content management systems.
